FAN ID
FAN ID is required to attend any football match in Cyprus. The process for obtaining a fan card has changed, and if you have already applied for a Cyprus FAN ID, you will need to apply for it again.
The process for issuing a fan card is divided into four main categories: citizens of the Republic of Cyprus, persons aged 14 to 18, citizens of the European Union and citizens of third countries. In this article, we will tell you how to obtain a FAN ID for citizens of other countries.
Step 1. Go to the Cyprus Sports Organisation website
Register on the Cyprus Sports Organisation website if you are new to it. If you have previously applied for a fan ID online, simply log in to your account.
Step 2. Start creating an application
After registration/authorization, click on the New Application button. You will be greeted with instructions for the site - be sure to read all the points and, if you agree with all of them, check the box next to each one.
Step 3. Confirm your passport or ID
Next, you will be asked to upload a photo of your passport or ID. Follow the instructions that the system offers you.
If you live in Cyprus and have an ARC Card, we recommend using it instead of your passport or ID.
Step 4. Take a selfie
After checking your document, you will be asked to undergo biometric authentication to make sure your photo is real. Prepare your front camera and place your face in the frame for facial recognition.
Choose a place with good lighting and a neutral background - during the biometric verification, you will need to take a selfie for your fan card.
Step 5. Specify your place of residence
The system will enter basic information about you directly from your passport data. All you have to do is enter your city of residence in Cyprus and your address.
Your Fan ID is ready! It will be available in your personal account and via the link in the letter that will be sent to your email. Be sure to download your fan card and don't forget to show it when entering the stadium.
